One Product. Ten Reels. No New Ideas Required.

"We've run out of things to post." We hear it all the time, and it's almost never true. What's usually run out is angles, not ideas. One product, looked at from ten different directions, can fill a month of content without repeating itself once.

To prove it, let's invent a product: the Summit Flask, a rugged, insulated stainless steel water bottle. Nothing exotic, the sort of thing a thousand brands sell. Here are ten reels we could make from it without a single new product launch.

The Problem Reels

1. The 24-hour test. Fill the flask with ice at 8am, then check back at 8pm. Time-lapse, a thermometer and a satisfying clink of ice that's still there. Proof beats claims every time.

2. The "why is my water warm?" rant. Open on a sweaty gym bag and a lukewarm bottle. Relatable frustration first, product second.

The Lifestyle Reels

3. Day-in-the-life. Follow the flask from kitchen counter to commute to desk to trail. No voiceover, just a good soundtrack and the bottle quietly doing its job.

4. One bottle, five places. Same flask, five quick cuts: hiking, office, school run, gym, car cup holder. It shows the product fits into real lives, not just a studio.

The Behind-the-Scenes Reels

5. How it's made. Stainless steel, vacuum sealing, the lid being tested. Making things is endlessly watchable, and it's the sort of footage that businesses that think they're boring often forget they own.

6. Meet the packer. A 20-second profile of the person who boxes your orders. People buy from people.

The Playful Reels

7. The drop test. Throw it off a table, a car roof, a stepladder. Dents, scuffs, still works. Slow motion optional but encouraged.

8. Trend-jacking, carefully. Pick one format your audience is already watching and give it a flask-shaped twist. Only if it genuinely fits your brand.

The Social Proof Reels

9. Customer clips, stitched. Five real customers, five five-second reactions. Authentic beats polished.

10. Answering the comments. "Does it fit a cup holder?" "Is it dishwasher safe?" Turn every repeated question into a reel. You'll never run out, because customers never stop asking.

What This Actually Shows

Look at what changed between those ten: the angle, not the product. Problem, lifestyle, process, play, proof. That's the same thinking behind the seven types of video every brand should have in its library. Once you can spot the angle, ideas stop being something you chase and start being something you pull from a repeatable system.

It's also why a single afternoon's filming can feed weeks of posts. Shoot the product once, then cut it ten different ways.

Your Turn

Pick your best-selling product and try the exercise. Write down one idea each for a problem, a lifestyle moment, a behind-the-scenes look, a playful take and a piece of proof. That's five reels before you've even picked up a camera.

Or skip the brainstorming altogether. At Reel Foundry, finding fresh angles on your products and turning them into scroll-stopping reels, month after month, is what we do. You bring the product; we'll bring the ten ideas (and the next ten after that).
